My Lil’ Mouse was developed to assist small children aged 2 and older learn the needed skills of navigating the computer.  This was designed by a doctor who identified a need for a new type of computer mouse as he watched young kids struggle with their dexterity clicking the left mouse button.  Many children also confuse the left, right and scroll button on adult computer mouse.

Young children don’t have the dexterity of singling out their fingers when clicking buttons on a mouse.  Instead they tend to “squeeze” with all their fingers thus clicking all the buttons on a computer mouse at the same time. My Lil’ Mouse is designed with just one single curved button in which the child can grip with their entire hand and squeeze the mouse, thus clicking the button which is only functional as a left mouse button.
